Scav Scout

Scav Scouts are the most commonly encountered Scav units. They patrol areas in small groups, using their speed and agility to chase down intruders. While individually weak, they can call reinforcements when they spot Spyro. Scouts are easily defeated with a charge or flame attack, but be careful not to let them summon backup. Aerial approaches work well since they primarily patrol on the ground.

Scav Brute

Scav Brutes are heavily armored ground units that pose a significant threat. Their thick armor deflects standard flame attacks, requiring Spyro to use more powerful charge attacks or exploit their weaknesses. Brutes move slowly but deal heavy damage. Their attacks have a wide area of effect, so maintain distance and use hit-and-run tactics. Aerial attacks are particularly effective since Brutes have limited ability to strike upward.

Weaknesses

  • Aerial dive attacks or charged horn

Scav Flyer

Scav Flyers are the aerial combat units of the Scav force. They can match Spyro's flight capabilities, making them dangerous opponents in the sky. Flyers typically attack in formations, using coordinated strikes to overwhelm their targets. Defeating Flyers requires mastery of aerial combat. Use dive-and-climb maneuvers to outpace them, and flame attacks to damage them when close. Their speed makes them difficult to charge, so precision flying is essential.

  • Formation Attacks
  • Dive Bombs

Weaknesses

  • Flame breath during close aerial passes
