Sparx

Sparx the Dragonfly has been Spyro's constant companion since the very beginning. This glowing dragonfly serves as Spyro's health indicator — when Sparx is golden, Spyro is at full health. As Spyro takes damage, Sparx changes color from gold to blue to green before disappearing entirely. Beyond health tracking, Sparx is an invaluable helper who automatically collects nearby gems, saving players time as they explore each world. In previous games, Sparx could even gain special abilities like pointing toward the nearest gem or breaking open special containers.
